They say that swimming is a whole body work out. I believe this when I feel muscle aches in parts I didn’t even know muscles existed when I first learnt how to swim. :> Good thing for us here that we live nearby a community pool that is open every day. On warm days, there is the outdoor pool, and when the weather gets chilly we can use the pool equiped with pool heat pump.
Someday perhaps, we would like to have a pool of our own. Right now we can only afford a waddle pool. Good enough to cool oneself on a hot summer day.

I do believe that people have to go off somewhere on a vacation for a change of air and replenish their energy after working everyday. I do feel like going off to somewhere far right now. The week has been a rather stressful one with the changes we are going through. I can imagine ourselves on bicycles and go ride miles and miles in a forest trail or imagine ourselves in horse riding helmets and breeches learning to horse ride somewhere in the country side.
If only longing for those things could make them come true.

Isn’t it tedious to count every little thing you eat? My boss is the type who never really eats breakfast or lunch. For a nearly 50 year old lady, she looks good. But she herself admitted that her way of maintaining a good weight is through counting every spoonfuls of food she eats everyday. Not bulimic type though fortunately.. I was like…. ‘wow’… I don’t think I’d be able to do that. Nor do I think it is really healthy.
I’ve tried counting calories but even that is a little too hard for me. I simply cannot keep track of every single thing I put into my mouth. As long as I think that they are not too high in calories and I eat in moderate amount I think that should be fine. I love my snacks too much. I know that the amount of snacks we buy every week, if we collect the money for that, perhaps I could afford a couple of diamond rings. Well, maybe not, but we do love snacks.
So no way I’d be counting what I eat. Eat as much as your body needs, and exercise. That’s the way to go.

It is nearly 2 weeks into the fasting month now. I am sure, just like myself, there are many people who are taking this opportunity to rest their stomaches, eat healthier and lose weight as well. Last year I lost like 3 kgs the first week. Well, going without water or food for the entire day only to eat just a morsel in the evenings, it wasn’t easy.
We are doing a lot of packing as well, as we are moving house soon. My husband just got a new job, better paying and better position. Well, not that important a position that he got the key man insurance from the company but was good enough to move to a new place.
Job search is still on. Went to a few interviews, got a few enquiries from companies, but no result just yet. I do hope to find a job soon.
