I suffer from aczema from time to time. The doctor that I went to told me that it may be allergy. Allergy to what she didn’t say. Someone suggested that I should stop eating certain type of food. Like milk. But that would be tough since I drink plenty of milk everyday with my coffee.
I came across an application called ‘diet4blood’. It has a list of over 600 food which is and isn’t suitable for certain blood groups (A, B, O, and AB)
You just choose your blood group and you will be given a list of food category like dairy, grains, fish, fruits, etc.
And a list of food names will be given and stated whether it is beneficial, neutral or should be avoided. It’s not a business intelligence software or anything that you need to take time to learn to use. It’s very straight forward and easy to use.
My zinc supplement is running low and it is about time I order a new batch. I have to order a week or two before my last capsule because I order my supplements online. I find them to be a lot cheaper online than from the pharmacies. Not to mention more choices of brand to choose from.
With just few clicks you can find from the best testosterone supplements for body building to simple daily multivitamins for the entire family.I just love online shopping!
It is true that the more you work out the more stamina you will have to work out longer. Though I have to say I am still far from being able to be the sort who can work out 1-2 hours straight. Not yet at least.
Do you ever wonder at times how some people can have the stamina and energy to work out longer than some people? I did. I thought some people were just born with that sort of stamina and energy. But people can boost their energy to help them work out longer and more effectively by taking pre-work out supplements like hemo rage black, NeuroXplode, no shotgun, etc. Most of these pre-work out supplements are used by body builders though.
For someone like myself, I just need more multivitamins and exercise regularly and allow my own stamina to increase itself naturally.
When it comes to the word ‘Hypnotism’ there would be three sort of people – those who don’t believe it, those who do, and those who hasn’t seen it work but open to try. I’m the third kind. I’ve seen all sorts of hypnotizing programs or applications that uses hypnotism to help people change their lives.
Hypnosis is a state that resembles sleep but that is induced by suggestion
It is said that in a hypnotic state a person would be able to absorb any sort of suggestion. Like say, when someone who is hypnotized and then suggested that hypnotized person will no longer feel the urge to eat chocolates and when the person comes out of the state, he or she will no longer crave for chocolates or perhaps not as much as before.
I’m not sure whether this method would really work or not but to me if one is willing to try out all sorts of diet programs and diet pills there is not harm done to try hypnotism. Especially when you can compliment it with exercise or when you are taking diet pills.
I am in the process of going through a list of positive affirmations that I collected and rearrange them in a special journal or diary. Each page will then be decorated with drawings and collages. I know that there are people who are doing this and I think it is an awesome idea.
Instead of a journal, I’ve also seen people making an affirmation board with pictures of the things they want to have or what sort of person they would like to be. Be it a picture of a house if they want a house, gold items if they want to be able to buy gold jewelleries, or pictures of exotic places if they want to be able to travel someday.
There are also beautifully decorated affirmation cards. Which is a lot more portable than an affirmation board, since they are small enough to be carried in pockets, wallets or bags. An affirmation journal would be something like this too. I want something that I can open up and read wherever and whenever I need that boost of positive reenforcement.
There are two different opinions when it comes to how often should one check one’s weight : Once a day or weekly. Once a month would be a little too little I think. When I didn’t check my weight for about a month, I was quite dismayed to find out that I gained about 2-3 kgs when I finally did check. So monthly weight check wouldn’t be such a good idea in my opinion.
What about once a day? Well, I was once that obsess that I had to check a least once a day to make sure I don’t over eat and gain that extra grams. It was much more of a maintaining the weight rather than the losing the weight at that particular time. You wouldn’t really be able to see much difference anyway in just a day.
I believe, the best is once a week. The difference in weight changes would be much more significant. And they say the best time to check is in the mornings. I usually check in the evenings before bed though because if I did gain weight at least I wouldn’t feel bad for the rest of the day.
Few posts ago I mentioned about my weight gain. As of to day I have lost about 2 kgs again. Gosh, I feel tempted to get appetite suppressants because I need to lose 10 kgs to get to my dream weight.
I started wearing glasses since I was 11. Most probably due to my habit of reading without proper lighting. I started wearing contact lense since I was 18. Since the first time I wore my first pair of eyeglasses, I had my eye checked every 2 years or so. However the last time I went for an eye check up was a few years ago. I think it is about time I visit an optometrist.
I have been getting headaches and my eyes get real dry these past few weeks. Thanks to staring at the computer for hours. But before I go for the check up, will do some eye exercises for a week or so. Heh, I know it wouldn’t make significant difference, but if I can make it slightly better then is good enough.
Need to include ‘eye exercise’ on my new habit list.
The gym located a block away is offering zumba classes. And guess what? I’ve enrolled myself. Well, at least for 2 classes first. Just to see how I like it. I do like it actually based on the dvd lessons that I have. But who knows how I feel when I’m actually in a class with other people.
I should have just become a full member since with a full membership I would be able to get points everytime I go to the gym to exercise. With the points can exchange for reward cards which I can use to join in any exercise class they offer. Still under consideration. The deal is quite tempting.
Today I took out my bathroom scale and weighed myself. Lo and behold! I have gained about 5 kgs!! I was shocked because this time I didn’t feel the weight gain. I used to feel heavy when I gained weight but now I just did not feel it. Even my clothes are not tight. Strange. I would love to think that the scale may have ‘kaput’ but who knows that it may be working well.
Gaining 5 kgs more is still not to bad for me so far since I can still wear clothes from years ago. I found an old t-shirt that I wore as a teen. Even that too I could wear. I was happy! Well imagine if you found your prom dresses and you still could fit in them after all these years. Well, happy much!! But the bathroom scale brought the happiness down the scale by a few notches.
Time to take care of what I eat and work out more I think. Winter is ending so no excuse for overeating.
I was just reading a few articles regarding how singing is good for the health. Not any kind of singing but singing from the diaphragm or the belly. I think that is not too hard to do and fun too.
I love to sing. Usually in the bathroom or while I work in the kitchen. It is yet another reason to get a karaoke machine. Not only it is a fun activity to do together with family and friends, it is also a healthy activity. Maybe a karaoke machine should be categorized as a health machine.
Just like stress lay a heavy burden on the spirits and causes physical ailments, singing uplifts the spirit, so it is no wonder that singing would improve one’s health.
